I was born into a Muslim family. My ancestors were the religious authorities for many generations. Growing up, and now as an adult, I have lived as a Muslim. Muslims, from childhood, are taught that the Bible, consisting of the Torah (the Law), Zabur (Psalms) and Injeel (Gospel), has been corrupted, and that the authentic Bible does not exist. In my youth and as an adult, I found myself being very uncomfortable with every organized religion. I refused to follow any religious exercise whatsoever. Nevertheless, for too long in my life, I was a cultural Muslim on the idea of the corruption of the Bible. That all started to change, however, when I began to study the Qur'an on my own and to compare it with the Bible.
