In some countries, largely those with British influence, commercial firms include the abbreviation for "Limited" after their name, to indicate their corporate status. The author of this volume draws an analogy in reverse from that, to describe the Christian's relationship with God as his partner. Stewardship, according to the author, covers all of God's blessings, not just our wages. The Lord is so magnanimous as a partner that it would be foolish not to cooperate with Him.

Mel Rees is a minister with much experience in stewardship seminars, fund raising, and book writing. His emphasis is on one's personal relationship with God, applying this principle to church-building fund drives and to tithes and offerings alike.
