This is truly an amazing book!!! Sarah Peck has done a masterful job of explaining God's wonderful plan of salvation to save His beloved people. She clearly explains why God allowed Satan's rebellion in Heaven and why God, in His great love and mercy, has allowed sin, suffering, and death to exist on our planet. She masterfully traces God's working in human history--God's working through the patriarchs; through the Jewish nation as a missionary nation; through the Jewish Babylonian captivity and the special messages of hope and prophecy given through Daniel; through the work of Jesus during His time on our earth; through the spread of the gospel by the apostles and Christian missionaries; and ends with Gods working in the final days of earth's history as revealed in the book of Revelation. I cannot recommend this book highly enough! As a home schooling Mom, it is an excellent Bible textbook for ages 13 and older. I have also used this book for a women's Bible study group and I'm purchasing more books to start a second Bible study group and to send to prison inmates who want to understand God's plan for our salvation. This book will transform your thinking and give you a foundation to build and understand in a deeper way the precious truths in God's word. I would encourage everyone to read this book!
