Robert H Pierson had a column in the Review and Herald entitled "Heart to Heart," is perhaps his best-known and most appreciated "writing-visit." He has written this column regularly since 1966. As its title indicates, the messages in the column are personal, coming directly from the heart. They reflect the author's deep desire that every church member shall feel the power of the Holy Spirit in his life and make the necessary preparations to meet the Lord at His second coming. With unusual skill Elder Pierson month by month produces messages at once practical and spiritual. His own faith and deep love for the Lord shine through.

In this book, the author has brought together his Review "Heart to Heart" messages and has added several new ones. All are short--a fact that will be approved by those with limited time but a deep desire to become better acquainted with God.
