A pounding at the door rudely awakened Minh and Tuyet. Control guards spilled into the room, grabbed Minh, and took him into the night. "Don't take my husband away from me before my baby's born," Tuyet pleaded.
One guard smiled pleasantly. "Don't worry. Your husband is only going to be reeducated. He'll be back in six weeks."
But Tuyet knew that the political reeducation camps specialized in torture. The only lesson learned there was the meaning of pain. Would Minh survive the camp? Would he ever see his child?
Minh knew there was little chance he would escape death in the camp. He turned to the God he had learned to trust for strength and courage, determined to find a way to give his family the freedom to learn about God and to follow him.
From a reeducation camp in Communist Vietnam, where torture often challenges faith, comes a compelling story of one man's conviction and miraculous deliverance.
