Mary Kennedy, an intelligent young Catholic girl, welcomed the opportunity to discuss her religious views with a Protestant minister. Perhaps, she thought, she might even convert him. Yet out of the discussions grew new understanding for both of them and a new life for Mary.

This book grew out of its author's own desire to see greater understanding between Catholics and Protestants. Raised as a Catholic, he eventually found himself face to face with the same decision that Mary faced. He based the story on the true experience of a close friend, much of it being almost a word-for-word account of that experience. In addition, he included several experiences of other friends.

Mary Makes a New Friend
Mary Defends Her Faith
Some Surprising Facts
Two Strangers and Mr. Crandel
The Fate of the Wicked Discussed
A Bit of Church History
The Break--Tom for the Priesthood
Father Hara to the Rescue
