During the darkest period of this earth's history, in the midst of confusion and conflict, out of love for a bruised and deceived face, came the Son of God, to give His life to redeem us. Jesus Christ did not count heaven a place to be desired while we were lost but left its glory to come to our rescue. He came to reveal to us and instill in us a love so deep that it filled Satan with amazement; a love so high that it was a mystery to holy angels; a love so broad that rather than try to explain it we are admonished to behold it. In the story of the good Samaritan, Christ gave a picture of this heavenborn love, a picture of Himself and of His mission, and He illustrated for us the nature of true religion.

The "Ministry of Reconciliation" is a brief glimpse into the way in which Jesus Christ manifested the truth to those He came to save; it is an insight into the spirit and attitude which all in the "church militant" must possess if they would become a part of the "CHURCH TRIUMPHANT."
