Dr. V Norskov Olsen received his formal education in Denmark, and his formal education on two continents. He holds a B.A., M.A., and B.D. from Andrews University, Michigan; an M.Th. from Princeton Theological Seminary; a Ph.D. from the University of London; and a D. Theol. from the University of Basel.

Since "retirement" he has been a Scholar in Residence at Loma Linda University actively engaged in research and writing. This work, Papal Supremacy and American Democracy, brings together both academic expertise and a rich understanding of history.
