Every teacher in the Sabbath school should be an experienced miner of the treasures of the Bible, and should stand before his class with lighted torch to guide his pupils, both old and young, in their gathering of the treasure from the great mine of truth. To enable Sabbath-school teachers to become more worthy torchbearers of truth, and to help them more effectively to let the light shine upon the path of every member of the Sabbath school as he pursues his way toward the kingdom of God, are the purposes of these Training Course lessons.

The lessons in this volume have been developed from the Sabbath-school Teachers' Training Course, Sections I, II, and III.

Mandatory Study For All Sabbath School Teachers

Colette Pinkney on 1st Jan 2025

This book carefully outlines each section, then step by step details, summarizes, has heart-discerning questions and answers for the Sabbath School teacher. There are the week-long duties of the Sabbath School teacher in addition to to the actual preparation to teach, the connection the teacher should make with each member of the Sabbath School class. If this book were to studied and put into practice, all Sabbath School classes would undergo a weekly rejuvenation, a weekly revival, church members would anxiously await attending Sabbath School and participate, but more importantly would be true Christian disciples, lightbearers in their families and communities. The Sabbath School teacher would no longer be the “expounder” / long winded speech-giver of the lesson but himself a student of the Sabbath School class. The General Conference needs republish this book and freely distribute copies to all Regional Conferences which will freely distribute copies to the Local Conferences which will then freely distribute copies to the Local Churches and the Sabbath School teachers.
