The information contained in these pages, if diligently and prayerfully studied, should bring the reader into a fuller understanding and view of what we, as Seventh-day Adventists, have believed as basic Bible truths on the fundamental pillars of our faith over the years. This is one of the few documents we have had of that which was presented in the 1888 message and termed by Ellen White, "the truth as it is in Jesus, which is the third angel's message is clear, distinct lines" TM, p/93, and in rejecting it she said "...you have been fighting against God" TM, p.97. If it is the third angel's message, which is the message we are to proclaim, we certainly should know what the message is, for we do not want to be fighting God, but rather to be co-laborers with Him.
