Description
*Condition Note: Excellent condition for age.*
There are many good books on storytelling, but additional information can be helpful. The majority of books in this field give excellent instruction in the art and science of storytelling, but they are more concerned with the present than with the future, with the story itself than with the results, with the interest created than with the impression made.
This book contains some hints that we have found to be most successful. It makes suggestions on how to take a written story and make it into an oral one, how to retell a story told by someone else, how to adapt a story to various age groups, and how to create an original story out of some personal experience. If these suggestions prove helpful in telling stories that bring pleasure today and create a desire to live in the earth made new, the purpose of this book will have been realized.
