Home of William Miller - Built by Miller (1782-1849) in 1815 on his farm of 200 acres in upstate New York - Miller was a skeptic turned believer, captain in the War of 1812, farmer, justice of the peace, deputy sheriff, and later a Baptist preacher. As he studied the prophecies of Daniel 8, he became convinced of the soon return of Jesus. The Millerite message forever altered the religious world.
