General FAQ

  1. Is my online order secure on your website?

Answer: Yes... Your Checkout Process is protected by SSL Certification. When you are finalizing your order, you will notice the “https” prefix in your browser’s address bar. In addition, many web browsers display a lock icon in the address bar. This assures your security.

  2. What is your Privacy Policy regarding my personal information?

Answer: Your personal buying history, content, or manuscript(s) are secure. We will never sell, barter, or trade any of this information.

  3. What forms of payment do you accept?

Answer: For all orders, we accept Mastercard / Visa / Discover, American Express credit/debit cards, PayPal, personal checks, and money orders.

  4. What is the least expensive way to ship my order if I live in the USA?

Answer: Media Mail — Delivery is instead 10–14 days by the US Postal Service.

  5. What are your office hours?

Answer: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST

  6. What type of book reviews do you post?

Answer: We do not accept reviews that simply state that the book is bad and does not follow the teachings of the Bible; however, we do post positive and critical book reviews. With either type of review, we are looking for specific comments that address the book’s content (not the shipping carrier or other experiences you have had with this subject, the author, or our company). All of our theological books must be reviewed and approved by ordained Seventh-day Adventist ministers to ensure they follow the teachings of the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy; however, we recognize that there are differing opinions regarding the interpretation and presentation of Scripture. In the spirit of Matthew 18, should you desire to address an author’s point of view, we welcome your input and will forward your comments to the author for reply—please be specific (page and paragraph) with your questions, concerns/reasons, and supporting references.

  7. Where can I learn more about getting my book published?

Select a topic from the dropdown under the “Publishing” tab in the blue bar at the top of each page.

  8. What is Books for Missions?

  9. I have friends who want to purchase a few copies of my book. But when they check on Amazon, it says “Only two left...” How can they order more?

Answer: Sometimes the automated systems at a vendor’s site show a quantity that is either smaller or larger than what is actually available. When we release a book, we notify vendors that it is available. And they may say exactly what you mentioned, yet we know they have not received any inventory and that they are incorrect. Sometimes it is, but a trick to look like you should order now, as they are running out. Usually, the vendor will take orders for items they claim to “have in stock”. At any rate, you can always tell your friends to order from other vendors such as Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, or TEACHServices.com (many times we are less costly too!).
