Ellen White wrote the following in Selected Messages, book 3, page 321: “We are exhorted to ‘call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions.’ Hebrews 10:32. For his people in this generation the Lord has wrought as a wonder-working God. The past history of the cause of God needs to be often brought before the people, young and old. We need often to recount God’s goodness and to praise Him for his wonderful works.”
As followers of God, we must never forget how God has led us in the past or what He has called us to do. If we lose sight of that, we will lose sight of where we are headed. For those reasons, we are committed to reprinting the works of the early Adventist pioneers. Their counsel is invaluable and God-inspired.
We hope the titles in the Adventist Legacy Series will be a blessing.
