What's your favorite part of working at TEACH Services?
I look forward to each day because I get to meet the most interesting authors and get to hear from them their experiences, stories and activities—it's just like being there with them.
What's your favorite book at TEACH Services?
Preparation for Translation by Milton Crane, MD—because it has opened my eyes to a lifestyle anyone can obtain that's in harmony with God.
What is your responsibility at TEACH Services?
I'm an Author Advisor in the Publishing department, where I assist authors in understanding the publishing process, and guide them in making the best decisions in getting their book published. I've been with TEACH Services since 1984, and have enjoyed every day with the company.

What does "When You're Here, You're Family" mean to you?
This is a very literal statement for me. I work for my uncle who owns the company, I work in the same office as my mom, and my other uncle has written many books that I've helped sell! So now it's really neat to actually be a part of the TEACH team. But aside from the literal aspect for me, this is a personal and dedicated company. And although a business, it feels much more connected. We all believe in the same God, and working for Him is what really makes us all family.
What's your favorite book at TEACH Services?
My favorite book we have here would have to be Swift Arrow by Josephine Cunnington Edwards. I absolutely loved reading this book when I was a kid. It's an exciting and inspiring book and all-around good read.
Who is your favorite author at TEACH Services?
Eric B. Hare. He writes such interesting and exciting stories! I grew up hearing and reading his stories and they're just as exciting now as they were before. I also really loved the book that Merikay McLeod wrote called "Now." The way the author tells the story really spoke to me and made an impression on me.

Here at TEACH Services, we help others communicate those ideas, values, desires, and skills they feel passionate about.

My favorite book here at TEACH Services is without a doubt, Swift Arrow, and the book that I long to see written is the one I have in my heart.

Writing bright and exciting copy to describe our books to open the reader's mind.
What is your favorite book from TEACH Services?
My favorite TEACH book so far is A Day in the Life of Jesus by Dennis Nickel, I love this devotional as it gives me a first person experience and encourages me to have a closer walk with Jesus.

What is your responsibility at TEACH Services?
I am the manager for the LNF (Lost ‘n Found) division of TEACH, which works with used, and often, out-of-print books. Do you have SDA books you need to get rid of, thin out? Please don’t throw them out. Send them my way—they will be put to good use.
What's your favorite part of working at TEACH Services?
I pray in the mornings that God will guide in my choice of books, choosing ones that people need in their walk or search for God. It is exciting to me that the books I choose could be just the very thing that someone needs for encouragement, challenge, instruction, reproof. Chances are, these books are hard to find, but maybe they’ll be here!!
What's your favorite memory of interacting with a customer?
One day a gentleman came in that was delivering a load down the street. He looked around a bit and couldn’t hide his delight at what we offer—vegetarian and plant-based foods. Being a trucker, he found it hard to find healthy food on the road. He turned his semi down our road to make a delivery, and found us!! He was convinced that God led him here to find food that would help him eat the way he was committed to eat. I enjoy being part of something like that!

What's your favorite part of working at TEACH Services?
It is a calm and peaceful environment that reminds me of my previous work in the Cuban Union's Seventh-day Adventist Publishing House.

There are many books but I don't have a favorite yet

I'm in charge of the Social Media and Reprints departments as well as doing tech support and design work for the company.

What is your responsibility at TEACH Services?
I direct the book editing process by contracting editors for each manuscript, then serve as a liaison between editors and authors to oversee the polishing of author’s manuscripts before they move into the production phase.
What does "We Help Bring Your Words to Life" mean to you?
Here at TEACH Services, we take an author’s thoughts from a (sometimes rough) draft to a glossy and colorful book—and even an ebook and audio book, if requested. We strive to make each book the best it can be by editing for clarity and organization, then add appropriate enhancements like pictures, pull quotes, and graphics. We finish it off with an attractive cover design based on the author’s input.
How did you come to work at TEACH Services?
It all started with giving my last package of Soy Curls™ to neighbors who wanted to make “chicken” fajitas for vegan dinner guests. When I stopped at TEACH Services to replenish my supply, I learned they needed another editor. After working as a contract editor, I joined the team as Editorial Director when that position became vacant.

My favorite part of working at teach Services is how close everyone is and how it really is one big family. I work with some awesome people..
How did you come to work at TEACH Services?
After my sister and I sold our coffee shop we both decided to find something new. I was referred by a close friend who helped out at the restaurant and also worked at TEACH—and the rest is history. I truly enjoy what I do here and love my coworker family.
