His concern for mothers and families is based on the work of social science experts, personal observation, and on the very words of mothers who themselves feel torn in the struggle to be a superhero on all fronts.

About the Author

Jan Voerman has served as a pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist Church for more than thirty-five years. Although retired, Pastor Voerman continues to preach, write books and articles, and study with people. He and his wife live in the small village of Geesbrug in the northern part of the Netherlands. In his spare time, Pastor Voerman built a small pipe organ for his home.
