About the Book

Points of Grace: Empowerment for Hard Times, answers many profound questions:

- Why are we incapable of crying out to God in authentic ways except during times of extremity?

- How does God get past our self-defense mechanisms?

- Does God accept us as we are—with our sin?

- Have we messed up so badly that there is no fixing it?

- Can we honestly face our feelings of remorse, bitterness, anger, fear, and insecurity?

- Is it possible to have a biblically based assurance of our being truly born again?

- What good is outward obedience if our hearts are lusting after the things of the world?

- What do we do when we don’t feel like doing what we know we ought to do?

- Why would God want to restore our miserable lives when He could let us die?

This book helps readers understand how God’s grace works in the life of the believer, illuminating the practical steps needed for an authentic relationship with God. It is illustrated with the author’s own experience of rising from the darkness of doubt and self-loathing into the light of honesty and assurance.

...he has nothing but our spiritual best interest at heart.

    ALR on 9th Jun 2021

“Stuart Cedrone writes and expresses himself with deep humility, conviction, truthfulness, and personal responsibility. He writes with a simplicity and directness that addresses the "white elephant in the room" repeatedly - the elephant within ourselves that causes us to run for cover just as Adam and Eve ran from their Creator. It's confrontational, yet sincere and heartfelt. You realize that Stuart is just a regular guy like the rest of us with his own stuff to work on as we all do. Most importantly, you realize that he has nothing but our spiritual best interest at heart.” —Trish Bonati, adoptive mother

...had me pausing multiple times to stop and reflect on topics that are important.

    ALR on 9th Jun 2021

TEACH Services received the following review: “Having come to know the author Stuart Cedrone over the past few years, I am not surprised that his book Points of Grace had me pausing multiple times to stop and reflect on topics that are important to us as individuals. Stuart starts us off by having us ponder the question of how much of ourselves have we truly surrendered to Jesus versus how much we as humans desire to remain in control of our destiny. This is followed by a discussion on whether we truly need to wait until we are at a point of despair before we surrender, or can we surrender during times of prosperity. Next up is a discussion on salvation – are we saved by our works and obedience to the law versus the fact that Jesus left the majesty of heaven to become human and die on the cross. If you are a new to the faith, this book will walk you through these important points concluding with the fact that regardless of our past and no matter how bad we may think we are, if we accept our faults for what they are, we can have a new beginning in Jesus. If you are a veteran of the Christian faith, this book will take you on a journey that will allow you to contemplate how important our Savior has been in your life. I would recommend this book not only for the individual person but for small study groups.” —Alan Moro, JD, Senior Program Manager
