Words of Expression / Kane, Francis

Author and poet Francis A. Kane is no stranger to the written word. While born in the humble surroundings of a coal mining town in Pennsylvania, he rose to later achieve three college degrees and become a graduate of the Writer's Guild. He has won 1st place recognition with honor awards in various poetry contests both internationally and locally.
During his lifetime he has been published widely in small magazines, short stories, and has self-published two poetry books, Poems are Forever and Poems are Memories. His poems have also been featured in two additional titles, Celebration of a Poet and Awakening to Sunshine, published by the International Society of Poetry.
Though retiring twice, Kane continues to live a full lifestyle, traveling extensively for the past fifty years. His experiences show through his writing as he finds the underlying sense of mutual care in a world stricken by disaster. His strong Christian beliefs can be felt in his positive outlook and his belief in finding the good in each person. This collection of poetry is uplifting and inspiring and will arouse hope in a world that needs it more than ever.
