GOD IN MY LIFE

God is AWESOME, and He does amazing things for each one of us, even when we don't realize it! Sometimes, by sharing OUR experiences of God in our lives with others, we encourage them to take a closer look and identify the hand of God in their own lives. Our amazing God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

In this book, Rita Roberts shares her many encounters with a God who loves and protects her. From an out-of-control dump truck to a train that miraculously did not cross her path, or lost keys on the bottom of a lake that had only one hope to be found, she traces in her many stories God's presence and care in even the smallest details of her life. She shows us how, if we take a moment to stop and take notice of things around us, our amazing God is found everywhere and is directing everything we see.

AUTHOR BIO: Rita Roberts is a retired elder care provider who currently lives in Fletcher, North Carolina, and attends the nearby Fairview Seventh-day Adventist Church. She earned a bachelor's degree in social work in 1971 from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas.

While Rita has taken on many jobs and career challenges over the years, her favorite and most important role was that of “Mom.” Often she had to rely upon God and His providence to supply even the basic needs for her small family. Through the toughest of times, she trusted that God was in her life and would be there for her always providing in miraculous ways!

In her spare time, Rita enjoys reading her Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. She also enjoys cooking, sewing, walking in nature, and writing encouraging letters to people who need a bit of hope and brightness in their lives.
