About the Author

Warren A. Shipton (BScAgr, PhD, MEd, FASM) received his education in Australia and the United Kingdom. He is an educator, administrator, and scientist who has worked in agriculture, biomedical sciences, and tertiary education. He was involved in pioneering research into the causes of sago haemolytic disease in Papua New Guinea, under the auspices of the Australian government, and was president of Asia-Pacific International University, Thailand (2006-2010), where he is still appointed as a principal lecturer in science.
