About the Book

About the Author
Clarice Smith has been writing poetry since the mid-1950s. Before retiring, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Patient Care Assistant. She currently resides in Canaan, Maine, enjoying time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, studying, visiting, and walking. She has plenty of time for these things because she hasn’t watched TV since 1982. Clarice enjoys a good joke, even at her own expense. She claims Hebrews 13:5 as her favorite Bible verse. Clarice hopes those who read her book will be drawn closer to God.

When my husband was the Pastor of the Bangor Maine church Clarice would ask to recite poem that God gave her just that morning. It would often align with the morning's sermon. Reading these poem's will uplift and inspire you.
