About the Book
Follow along as Charlotte shares a lifetime of memories made while traveling with her husband George as part of an evangelistic team. Read of God's leading as the couple discovers the truths of the Bible and devotes their lives to sharing the good news of the gospel with thousands of people in many places. Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of hardships endured, lives changed, and miracles witnessed.
Charlotte hopes to inspire others with the importance of both personal and public evangelism. She encourages everyone to look for Divine appointments everyday, everywhere they go—whether at church, at work, or in malls and restaurants, because Jesus is coming soon, and there are still so many who haven't heard. Jesus says to all of us, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:19, 20).

TEACH Services received the following review:
“Charlotte Garrick is an excellent writer! I was taken by her ability to be so authentic with the actual stories and true life of Evangelists and their Associates on the road. She candidly shares the up front and behind the scenes stories and even the personal challenges of the team as they travel. She keeps the reader’s interest with stories of miracles, fun times, and challenging times. One does not want to stop reading, always curious of what is next. This book is inspiring and very Christ Centered. The reader will be convicted in their heart to share Jesus everywhere with everyone with whom they come in contact.”

TEACH Services received the following review:
“The work of evangelism ‘infected’ Charlotte early in her life, first as the Holy Spirit spoke to her own heart, then as she observed the organist in an Oral Roberts revival. She knew her life-calling. But she was only ‘an ordinary person who wanted to be involved.’ How? God would make that way through many turns-of-events and show her ‘how God can use imperfect people to work out His perfect will.’
Several influences were powerful in God’s shaping her service—
• Reading books sold to her mother by literature evangelists,
• Meeting and marrying George Garrick,
• Being invited to assist several evangelistic teams, here and abroad.
Charlotte reflects realistically on the life of an evangelist (their struggles and failings) … AND on the life-changing effect of those who respond to the call and are baptized. She recounts many miraculous, heart-warming events and her summary is: ‘We have found over the years that if we make ourselves available to the Lord, He will make a way for us to be used by Him.’
As I read this book, I was surprised to find that I was acquainted with most of the persons and places (and many of the events) described. Perhaps you will, too. Charlotte provides the back-story and the heart struggles. Do yourself a favor and journey with them on the evangelists’ sawdust/asphalt trail.
