About the Author
Nancy Berthiaume LaPierre lives in Newport News, Virginia, with her husband, Mark.
Throughout her life, Nancy has taken care of precious souls who were in need—both young and old. Most recently, she cared for her own mother until her passing. Those seven years proved to be not only a time of challenge but also a time of joy.
Nancy decided to share what she has learned—with the prayer that her experiences would be an encouragement to others.

Such an interesting book
TEACH Services received the following review: Through the eyes of an 11-year-old… “Journey to a Better Land is such an interesting book. The author of this book attends my church and she was surprised that I enjoyed the book. It was written to inspire adults. In this case it was different. Since I am a child, I took it into a perspective of an adventure. It’s like in children’s books there might be a prince who has to fight dragons and go through obstacles to get to the princess. This is how the book appeared to me. Mrs. Nancy had to work through the hard times. It seemed as if nothing would ever go right and there were many times of disappointment and times of despair.
