About the Author
Phyllis Contreras is the mother of three daughters who are now ages 27, 25, and 16. A resident of Ferguson, Missouri, Phyllis enjoys writing, photography, and home remodeling.
Of importance to Phyllis is an angel statue she purchased shortly after her third daughter was born, because it reminded her of her daughter. The angel has overlooked a pond, has been the focus of a small fountain, and has moved with her three times. Now, sixteen years later, it's missing a piece of a foot, and one of its hands had to be glued back on, but she still loves this little cherub, which, now, reminds her of herself. “I’m not perfect, certainly not the way God wants me be, but He loves me despite my flaws, and I am blessed.”
