About the Author

Jeffery Bishop

Jeff Bishop began his teaching career in his church's junior department when he was eighteen years old. He later became an SDA school teacher. While working as a teacher at Grand Rapids Junior Academy, he was called, along with his wife and daughters, to serve as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. That is where he launched the Gogodala project, a mission that is still moving forward today. Now retired, he continues to teach in his local church.
