About the Book
There is both good and evil in this world, and unfortunately, our precious children can be exposed to and experience some very dark and terrible things—nothing any child should have to endure. It's of the utmost importance that our children have a safe haven and that we teach them that they indeed have a voice and can express when they are hurt, scared, or abused.
We must take their words and their actions seriously and do all in our power to protect them. Sexual abuse is rampant, and both children and adults need to be able to identify the warning signs and know what to do when faced with that trauma. Even when, and especially when it is someone we know and think we can trust!
In this book, you will meet Joetta and her three woodland puppets. Through these puppets and their stories, children will learn what is and what is not appropriate behavior. And what to do if faced with the same situations. They will learn that it's okay to say “NO,” “STOP,” and to use their voice to prevent anyone from touching them or hurting them in any way that makes them uncomfortable.
Available in PAPERBACK and eBOOK formats.

Educates and empowers children.
TEACH Services received the following review: "Author Marie Pflugrad has written an exceptional book that is a tool for teachers, parents, anyone who works with children. It gives voice to a topic that needs to be addressed in today’s society. It educates and empowers children to be heard when they, or a friend of theirs might be feeling ashamed or guilty. I am an advocate of this book, every teacher/parent should obtain a copy and read it to children regularly!" ~ Carlene Lang, Educator in the private and public sector for 37 years.

Wonderful resource
TEACH Services received the following review: "I have been an educator for more than thirty years having taught children Kindergarten through 12th grade. I am currently assisting homeschool parents with their children. The world has changed significantly and there is a need for the information this book delivers in a gentle but very significant way regarding sexual abuse. I find it to be an easy format to use in may different settings. Psalms 127:3 describes children as a heritage from the Lord. I believe it is our duty to protect them. This story provides the information they need in the beautiful format of animal creatures that young children are all familiar with. I am confident this book will be a wonderful resource for those who serve children in any capacity." ~ Kathleen Blair, K-12 Educator for more than 30 years in Colorado. Currently assisting home school parents with their children.

Good addition to any school library.
THEACH Services received the following review: "You Have a Voice covers an important, sensitive topic in an appropriate way. In provides good information for school-age children in a non-threatening way and lets them know that it is not only okay, but important, to share when someone makes them uncomfortable. This book would be a good addition to any school library." ~ LouAnn Howard, Director of Education, Mid-America Union Conference
