TimEtta Wilson is an educator with the Jackson Public School District. She works in the Gifted Education department where students with above average IQ’s learn critical and creative thinking skills. While at Chastain Middle School, as a sixth-grade teacher, she was selected from thousands across the U.S. and nominated by her colleague, Phillip Wooley, as one of the top ten teachers on the Live! With Regis and Kelly Top Teacher award in 2010. She is the recipient of several awards and honors for her work in the classroom. TimEtta is also a noted speaker who travels nationwide--sharing her inspiration, information and insight. Known for her creativity and spirit, she infuses her lessons and speaking engagements with fresh ideas.
TimEtta is an artist and praise dancer. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, TimEtta is the mother of three adult children, Granville O. E. Wilson III, Pastor Victor R. T. Wilson, and Olivia V. G. Wilson. She is the proud grandmother of six grandkids: Annalisia, Christian, Nia, V. J., Malcolm, and Maliya.
