Wayne Beaton spent his life caring for the sick as a family physician in Ontario, Canada. Now in his retirement he is turning to other pursuits such as writing, but his focus is still the same. Whether as a physician or a writer, Dr. Beaton has a deep desire to serve God and humanity and heal the hearts of the people he comes in contact with.

Start Your Day With Hope is a collection of short stories and thoughts that point readers to Christ and His love. Over the years Dr. Beaton has witnessed miracles and learned lessons about family, faith, and God. Those lessons spurred him to write down his thoughts and share them with others that they too may gain a blessing from the treasures that are hidden in the Word of God.

About the Author

Wayne Beaton lives in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. He retired on May 31, 2012, after serving the Ontario community as a family physician for 46 years. Wayne grew up in Canada, but he graduated from Loma Linda University in 1964 with a degree in medicine. In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy painting pastoral pictures, traveling, gardening, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
