Steve and Joe are best friends. They do everything together! Most of all, they like to meet at their hangout—the tree house! Steve believes in God, but Joe isn’t so sure. One day, as they are exploring the woods nearby, they find a mysterious, old metal box hidden in an abandoned barn. Is this box somehow connected to Joe’s questions about God? Joe has a hard time believing it all, but through a series of events and a cousin named Annabell, God works to show Joe just how much He cares.

This is an excellent book to teach kids how to talk to their friends about God. It shows the power of friendship evangelism and the power of prayer. God wants to use us to share His love with others.

About the Author 

Paul Ricchiuti retired from the Pacific Press Publishing Association. With an educational background in art, Ricchiuti’s creativity blossomed over the years through his writing, and he is now a sought-after storyteller. Ricchiuti hopes that his stories create a desire in readers to live a better life and accept Jesus as their personal friend and Savior. In his spare time, Ricchiuti still writes children’s stories. He currently lives in Caldwell, Idaho.
