Description
Why do you believe what you believe? Do you base it on your own opinions, other people’s opinions, popular culture, scholars, the media? Or do you base your beliefs on the Bible, and the Bible only? God’s inspired Word has stood the test of time, and it is the only solid foundation that we have to base our beliefs on.
Thirty-Five Reasons Why I Keep the Bible Sabbath relies on the Word of God to clearly document why the seventh-day Sabbath of the Bible is, was, and will remain the true Sabbath. With clarity and sound conclusions, the author outlines thirty-five biblical reasons why he keeps the Sabbath, and why all Christians should return to their biblical roots.
This book is an excellent resource for personal study. It is also a wonderful book for sharing with others or using as a basis for Bible studies.
About the Author
Robert Franklin Correia wrote the book Thirty-Five Reasons Why I Keep the Bible Sabbath as an assignment for his English class while attending La Sierra College, now La Sierra University, during the 1939-40 school year. When his teacher saw what he had done, he told him to take it to the college press and have it printed.
After graduating from college, Correia embarked on a career of service for the Lord. As an ordained minister, he served in Virginia; Wyoming; Brazil, including a stint administering first aid from the missionary boat the Luzeiro III on the Amazon River; Wyoming; Ontario, Canada; and Bermuda.
Upon retiring from the ministry, Correia moved to Claremont, Virginia, where he lived and attended the Hopewell Seventh-day Adventist Church until he passed away on December 7, 1996.
