Author Thelma Norman gives us another segment of the life story of Tommie, the hard-working nurse-mother-wife. Readers will enjoy the new baby, the balky car, and the young Indian Hospital patient. They will feel anxious about the missing child, and the med student who almost didn't get in. They may shed a tear or two at some of the inevitable sad moments that occur in a hospital, but they cannot help laughing about the four patients put in the same room together at such great pains, who still couldn't speak each other's language.
Through it all runs a thread of dedication, optimism, and joyful Christian service.
